Backorder Creation - Edit Menu Options

When you are processing a backorder, you can use the options under the EDIT menu to perform various tasks such as editing the backorder header and choosing between editing items and text.

1. Create a new backorder, or recall an existing one.

Refer to "Creating a New Backorder" or "Recalling a Backorder".

Micronet displays the Backorder Creation screen.

2. Optionally, you can perform any of the following edits or actions on the Backorder Creation screen if required:

• edit the backorder header - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Header"
• display the accumulated backorder total - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Total"
• display or enter the backorder's weight and volume for calculating freight costs - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Weight\Volume"
• choose to manage either items or text for the backorder - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Item / Text"
• set Micronet to retain original pricing for a backorder - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Retain Original Pricing"
• load a quote into the backorder - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Load Quote"
• set Micronet to check for duplicate items - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Check Duplicate Item"
• update delivery dates for a backorder - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Update Delivery Dates"
• enter an alternative selling price for a backorder - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Reprice Backorder"
• copy down default user defined questions to a backorder - refer to "Backorder Creation - Edit - Copy Down Default UDQ".
